Thought I would take a moment today to tell you about a very worthy initiative underway by The Company Store. From now through the end of March, for every comforter purchased, The Company Store will donate a new comforter to a homeless child in need.
One of my favorite moments of the day is slipping into my bed at night and snuggling down under the warmth of my comforter. I am so grateful to be able to experience that sensation. I can only imagine what it would mean to have my very own, brand-new, soft comforter to keep and carry with me if I were homeless. I suspect it is an enormous comfort for a child and their parents.
