Of course, my absolute favorite detail was the tile. I snapped these pix with my phone while we were there:
The intricate patterns and mixture of color are breathtaking - I couldn't stop staring.
Still riding high on these recent memories, I basically keeled over when I saw Schumacher's new Byzantium wallcovering collection. My thoughts instantly turned to that sunny day in Granada!
Schumacher has captured the absolute beauty of the tile in a gorgeous collection of wallpaper and borders. The above image is of a couple of the products mixed together in the same colorway - and the effect is beautiful, don't you think?
My favorite product is the Nasrid Palace Mosaic wallpaper. HELLO.
Look at the colors in that Persimmon! Check out the new collection here - it's worth exploring!
I love the patterns you can find in old architecture and tiles! Thanks for sharing the Nasrid wallpaper, it would make for some great framed panels.
ReplyDeleteI am always blown away by the colors that are used in such beautiful old places! And the fact that they are still so vibrant! I know your trip must have been amazing!
ReplyDeleteLovely! I'd love to use that wallpaper on a ceiling.
