I told you the combination of yellow and green reminds me of Henrico County Public Schools gym uniforms (and oh how I loathed gym) so I have an adult aversion to it. But I have to admit it's been catching my eye lately...and this fetching chintz stopped me in my tracks. I think the way the fabric is draped so casually really adds to the
effect. And paired with Alan Campbell Zig Zag on the shade, it makes the whole effect
chic and cool and not at all fussy. Ugghhh, and those chairs! I just
want everything in this image.
I spotted this chintz beauty on the new blog Magpie, written by fellow UVa grad Haskell Harris. The blog may be new, but Haskell has been in the magazine world for a while (Cottage Living and Garden & Gun) and now in lives in Charleston so I'm looking forward to getting my southern style doses from her blog. My baby shower is tomorrow! I'm so excited to kick back with the lovely ladies in my life and celebrate the little lady we're all waiting for. Hope you have a fantastic weekend...see you Monday!
