AO House Tour: Guest Bathroom Before

I was going to post about the dining room for my next trick, but I thought since we were on the topic of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, I should show you our guest bathroom on the main level of the house which got the same extreme overhaul our kitchen did.

Again, this is a mighty fine space we started out with.

There are RAZORS (plural) on the FLOOR. And yet we could see past this. How? I have no idea.

So, again, I have to state that I am all for charming, quirky, vintage details. Had the tile been in better shape and had we not felt like every inch of this room needed to be set on fire to kill the germs, we may have tried to work with it.

But it was pretty gross.

So, we set out to just rip errrrything out and start fresh....and we did it in tandem with the kitchen (that sits behind the wall with the sink) so this whole area was a bit of a wreck for several months.

Demo begins!

Once again, our dads were pretty crucial in making these huge initial projects happen. Both of our dads worked on this space with Carter...like laying this new floor:

So. Much. Better.
